QA Analyst, Databricks

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Ensure the quality, reliability, and consistency of data across contemporary data platforms.

• Validate data pipelines and establish automated quality checks.

• Collaborate intimately with Data Engineering and business teams to ensure the accuracy of production-ready data assets.

• Design and implement a data quality framework across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.

• Construct and maintain automated data quality checks within Databricks pipelines.

• Manage reconciliation between source systems and Databricks layers.

• Validate identity resolution outputs within the Silver layer.

• Conduct end-to-end pipeline testing.

• Work alongside Data Engineers to define acceptance criteria for each sprint’s pipeline and data model deliverables.

• Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) alongside client business stakeholders.

• Document all QA processes, test outcomes, and findings related to data quality.

• Monitor pipeline health following deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with Azure-based data platforms, including Databricks.

• Strong comprehension of data quality frameworks and testing methodologies for data pipelines.

• Experience in validating ETL/ELT processes and engaging with layered architectures (Bronze, Silver, Gold).

• Proficient SQL skills and experience in analyzing large datasets.

• Experience in implementing automated data validation and reconciliation processes.

• Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting data pipelines.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with Data Engineers and business stakeholders.

• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Experience in documenting QA processes and results in a systematic manner.

• English: Advanced (essential for effective communication with global teams).
