QA Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement QA test plans that enhance quality by design;

• Develop, execute, and uphold quality assurance processes and procedures;

• Evaluate software products to verify compliance with quality standards;

• Identify defects and monitor issues until resolution;

• Work alongside team members to ensure adherence to quality standards;

• Document testing outcomes and communicate defects to the development team;

• Create and manage documentation and tutorials;

• Proactively and transparently report status and quality risks to partners and the team regarding the work the engineer directly oversees, effectively utilizing basic quality metrics in these communications.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in a QA Analyst role;

• Proficiency in testing Web software and APIs;

• Familiarity with Linux operating systems;

• Experience in test case design, creation, execution, and reporting;

• Exposure to tools such as Postman, Charles, JIRA, Git, Xray, Jenkins;

• Strong foundational knowledge in software testing;

• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and teamwork skills;

• A dynamic and critical mindset;

• Strong problem-solving abilities;

• Keen attention to detail;

• Willingness and enthusiasm to learn;

• Ability to work independently and take initiative;
