QA Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Lead our quality strategy and practices as a cohesive member of our development teams.

• Create test plans and test cases based on project documentation and practical field investigations.

• Evaluate games and software with the player's perspective always at the forefront.

• Assist in guiding the development team to achieve our quality standards through collaboration.

• Formulate strategies with developers to incorporate quality directly into our development processes.

• Identify risks and effectively communicate with the team about the product’s quality status.

• Offer ideas and innovative solutions to enhance the game.

• Engage in team processes and culture, contributing to the evolution of best practices in planning, testing, code review, documentation, and communication.

⛳️ Requirements

• A proven history as a QA analyst or tester, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of quality assurance methodologies and the software development lifecycle.

• Significant experience collaborating directly within internal game development teams, working closely with engineers, artists, and designers.

• Practical experience in addressing the distinctive challenges presented by a live game environment.

• Capacity to convert complex technical or systemic concepts into clear, actionable documentation.

• Strong dedication to game development and a deep motivation to deliver high-quality, player-centric experiences.

• A current and insightful understanding of industry trends and player expectations.
