QA Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Design and implement thorough test strategies and plans that cover functional, integration, regression, and performance testing to ensure software functionality and user experience are validated.

• Generate, review, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios in accordance with project requirements, user stories, and technical documentation.

• Identify, document, and communicate software defects, inconsistencies, and issues utilizing appropriate tools and methodologies.

• Collaborate closely with developers and project stakeholders to promptly resolve issues.

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to enhance regression testing, boost testing efficiency, and improve overall test coverage.

• Execute tests and track test results, analyzing discrepancies and proactively raising potential roadblocks to the project team.

• Produce detailed test reports and metrics to convey progress and quality status.

• Work in partnership with development and product teams to refine the QA process by offering feedback and insights aimed at improving software quality, performance, and user experience.

• Conduct performance and load testing to identify bottlenecks, evaluate system scalability, and confirm optimal software performance under various conditions.

• Perform regular regression testing to verify new features, enhancements, and bug fixes while preserving the integrity of existing functionalities.

• Keep accurate and up-to-date testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, test data, and test results, ensuring comprehensive coverage and knowledge sharing within the team.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience as a QA Analyst or in a comparable software testing role.

• Strong grasp of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.

• Proficient in automated testing tools and frameworks.

• Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with Agile development processes.

• ISTQB or other relevant certifications are advantageous.

• Ivalua L2 or L3 Certification is highly preferred.

• At least 1 year of configuration experience in e-procurement, system implementation, and consulting.
