QA Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Evaluate new features and bug fixes across the primary web application workflows and dashboards.

• Enhance and adhere to regression test checklists during release cycles.

• Assist in creating clear test cases and concise documentation for ongoing QA processes.

• Document bugs with comprehensive reproduction steps, screenshots, and "expected vs. actual" comparisons.

• Collaborate with engineers to gain insights into features and identify edge cases at an early stage.

• Verify data accuracy and UI functionality in critical analytical outputs.

• Acquire knowledge of basic testing and automation tools over time (if necessary).

• Aid in incident follow-ups by re-evaluating fixes and contributing to the prevention of regressions.

• Background in QA principles, test case creation, or systematic troubleshooting.

• Exceptional attention to detail and capacity to methodically navigate through testing procedures.

• Ability to learn new tools and adeptness in navigating contemporary web applications.

• Proficient written communication skills, particularly in documenting processes and reporting issues.

• Some familiarity or experience with ComboCurve.

• Knowledge of reservoir engineering tools such as ARIES and/or PHDWin.

• Experience with QA automation.

• Experience in testing AI agents/chatbots.
