Python Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovakia.

📋 Description

• Lead a team of 5–6 developers within the Odin Development / Digital Foundation department.

• Actively engage in writing and contributing to Python code alongside your team members.

• Ensure seamless delivery, foster your team's development, and serve as a vital link between the Python team and its primary collaborators.

• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with each team member to encourage their growth and offer constructive feedback.

• Facilitate two weekly standups and oversee sprint planning sessions.

• Manage and refine the Jira backlog while monitoring sprint progress.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of practical Python development experience with a comprehensive understanding of the language, including its fundamental patterns, ecosystem, and typical use cases.

• Demonstrated experience in leading or mentoring a team of software engineers.

• Strong grasp of agile/scrum ceremonies along with practical experience using Jira.

• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with comfort in conducting standups, planning sessions, and one-on-ones.

• Proven history of establishing and achieving OKRs or similar goal-setting frameworks.

• Capability to switch contexts between people management and technical tasks.
