This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Moldova.

• Participate in the design and upkeep of backend services for a high-traffic platform centered on sports betting and financial transactions.

• Develop scalable APIs, handle asynchronous task processing, implement payment integrations, and enhance real-time system capabilities.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to guarantee reliability, performance, and a seamless user experience.

• Over 3 years of experience in backend development utilizing Python.

• Familiarity with web applications and RESTful APIs.

• Practical experience with Python (2.7) and Django (1.6) in a commercial setting.

• Proficient with MySQL (v.8), Redis, and optimizing backend performance.

• Experience with Celery for managing asynchronous tasks and scheduled job execution.

• Strong grasp of REST API design and development through Django REST Framework.

• Hands-on knowledge of Backbone.js, encompassing models, views, collections, and routing.
