Python Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• The Railway team is responsible for integrating train tickets into our platform while also developing the application that facilitates onboarding of new suppliers.

• Our current priorities include launching and stabilizing an integration with a significant European partner, enhancing metrics and logging, advancing the architecture for quicker and smoother partner integrations, and improving overall service stability and quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in commercial development, including a role as a Senior Developer.

• Proven ability to independently manage features from inception to release, encompassing requirements gathering.

• Practical experience with: Python, Django, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and Redis.

• Strong skills in AsyncIO, including coroutines, parallel task execution, event handling, and asynchronous network operations.

• A solid grasp of OOP principles and their practical application.

• Experience in API design and writing OpenAPI (Swagger) specifications.

• Familiarity with Docker and GitLab CI.

• Proficient with terminal operations: managing files and directories, searching logs, and using SSH.

• Capability to produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation.

• Familiar with testing methodologies, including unit testing and using Pytest / Unittest.

• Conversational proficiency in English at a B2 level.

• Preferred: experience with Go, writing design documents, or a background in systems analysis (such as event storming and architecture diagrams).
