This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Engage in well-defined software engineering projects that involve real-world codebases and development hurdles.

• Diagnose and rectify issues within intricate, multi-file codebases.

• Develop new backend or full-stack features.

• Refactor and transition existing systems.

• Create and enhance unit and integration test suites.

• Compose clear technical specifications and reference implementations.

• Evaluate code and technical submissions for accuracy and quality.

• Recognize edge cases, ambiguities, and potential failure modes.

• Ensure that requirements, code, tests, and expected outputs are in sync.

• Produce production-quality code and technical solutions.

• Complete precise project deliverables.

• Provide comprehensive technical documentation.

• Offer insightful and actionable feedback during code reviews.

• Consistently meet project requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–7 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Strong expertise in Python.

• Professional experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.

• Proficient in at least one additional programming language such as Java, C#, or Go.

• Backend or full-stack experience with production-grade systems.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks like pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing.

• Capability to navigate and debug large, multi-file codebases confidently.

• Experience in code reviews, refactoring, and migrations in production.

• Advanced written proficiency in English.

• Strong attention to detail and exceptional technical problem-solving skills.
