Python Developer, AI focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services utilizing Python.

• Create and improve RESTful APIs with Django REST Framework and FastAPI.

• Integrate and optimize AI services, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and third-party model APIs.

• Develop and sustain Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, such as vector databases, embedding pipelines, and retrieval mechanisms.

• Implement AI orchestration workflows with LangChain and related frameworks.

• Integrate various external APIs and data providers into backend systems.

• Design dependable, maintainable, and high-performance system architectures.

• Engage in technical design discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions.

• Ensure software quality through automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring practices.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while continuously enhancing system reliability and performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of substantial commercial experience with Python.

• Demonstrated experience with Django REST Framework and FastAPI.

• Practical production experience in integrating AI solutions, including LLMs and model APIs.

• Strong understanding of LangChain and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.

• Experience with vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, and retrieval systems.

• Solid experience in integrating multiple third-party APIs and external data sources.

• Strong grasp of software architecture and system design principles.

• Experience in building scalable and reliable backend systems.

• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and contemporary DevOps practices.

• Experience with automated testing and application monitoring.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work independently.

• Proficiency in English at B2 level or higher — essential for daily written and verbal communication with the international team.
