This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Collaborate with client and subcontractor representatives, including both government and contractor clients, to create opportunities and comprehend specific requirements to drive effective winning strategies.
• Organize, coordinate, and oversee pursuit activities within the sector until completion, including the development of successful proposals, short-list interviews, and pursuit closure activities.
• Identify the pursuit team and determine necessary resources to ensure we have the most qualified team in place.
• Facilitate the creation and finalization of proposals by collecting technical, commercial, and financial information from diverse sources and business areas in a structured way.
• Author, review, and revise technical components of proposals, crafting content that aligns with the client's needs and the established win strategy (e.g., key messages and win themes).
• Create messaging and materials for interviews and presentations.
• Develop and efficiently manage commercial strategies for the pursuit.
• Recognize commercial strategies (margin, profitability) and ensure coordination with finance and legal teams.
• Conduct workshops and submission reviews.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in pursuit processes, systems, and tools to enhance efficiencies.
• Conduct post-selection debriefs with clients and the pursuit team to facilitate lessons learned and share best practices.
• Professional degree in Architecture or Engineering.
• At least 10 years of proven experience managing pursuits in the government sector.
• Capacity to influence individuals at all levels of the organization while building and maintaining professional relationships.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Understanding of commercial strategies (margin, profitability).
• Proficiency in coordinating with finance and legal departments.
• Capability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines.
• A natural communicator with outstanding written and verbal presentation skills.
• Excellent time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize a busy schedule and workload.
