Purchasing, Supply Chain Analyst

• *In the role of Purchasing and Supply Chain Analyst, you will be instrumental in enhancing operational efficiency, profitability, and data-informed decision-making throughout the organization's inventory and purchasing functions. By examining supply chain data, generating actionable insights, streamlining purchasing processes, establishing reporting and KPI tracking systems, and integrating vendor information into business platforms, you will contribute to improvements in inventory performance, fulfillment efficiency, and cost management while facilitating business growth. Collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will pinpoint opportunities for process enhancements, boost data accuracy, and ensure the organization possesses the insights necessary for informed purchasing and supply chain decisions in a dynamic e-commerce landscape.*

• __**Duties and Responsibilities:**__

• **Vendor Supply Chain Management**

• Integrate and sustain vendor stock levels within ERP and web management systems.

• Ensure data precision and accessibility for forecasting and e-commerce support.

• Develop and maintain a data-driven ranking system to identify preferred vendors.

• **Purchasing & Vendor Review and Support**

• Establish and evaluate KPIs for suppliers and the overall purchasing process.

• Analyze vendor spending data to uncover opportunities for more strategic purchasing decisions (e.g., procuring the same product from multiple vendors).

• Identify areas for cost savings, consolidation, or renegotiation.

• Create and implement RFPs grounded in data-driven insights.

• Provide both ad hoc and strategic data support to purchasing & inventory teams.

• Translate complex data into actionable insights for decision-making purposes.

• Develop and maintain forecasts and budgets related to inventory and purchasing.

• **SKU Reconciliation, Consolidation, and Inventory Data Maintenance**

• Consolidate commodity part numbers across various vendors.

• Reconcile part numbers for new versions of equipment components.

• Audit and update inventory status and reorder rules and standards within ERP and web management systems (e.g., managing eligibility for back order, reorder, drop-ship, and stocking).

• **Data Analysis of Stock Position vs. Sales Velocity and Marketing Traffic**

• Analyze the relationship between inventory levels, sales velocity, and marketing visibility.

• Identify and forecast sales trajectories for slow-moving items and items exceeding sales projections; compare site traffic, price competitiveness, and marketing impact; conduct root cause analysis.

• Reporting and analysis of slow-moving inventory and associated marketing activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• __**Must-have Skills / Qualification:**__

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Supply Chain Analyst, Purchasing Analyst, Inventory Analyst, or a similar analytical role.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the capability to build complex formulas, analyze extensive datasets, and generate meaningful reports.

• Strong data analysis and reporting abilities, with the skill to interpret data and provide actionable business insights.

• Experience with ERP systems to extract, analyze, and report on purchasing, inventory, or supply chain data.

• Experience in at least one of the following supply chain functions: forecasting and demand planning, inventory management, inventory allocation strategies, or replenishment planning.

• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Proven ability to validate data accuracy, identify trends and anomalies, and proactively offer recommendations instead of merely producing reports.

• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with Acumatica ERP.

• Vendor management experience.

• Experience in the eCommerce sector.

• Familiarity with inventory optimization, purchasing KPIs, or supply chain performance metrics.
