This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• This position aids the Sourcing and Purchasing teams by overseeing purchase orders and coordinating with suppliers to ensure that materials are ordered and delivered in alignment with the supply plan.
• It also assists with import and compliance documentation (e.g., COO/HTS) and generates internal and external reports, including metrics on on-time delivery and savings performance utilizing tools such as Power BI and capacity analysis updates.
• PO management (issuing POs, pulling in/pushing out, making quantity adjustments) - Oversee purchase orders with both domestic and international suppliers.
• Discover and establish supply chain opportunities through workflow optimization to enhance efficiency.
• Report any shortages along with a corresponding root cause analysis.
• Ensure that materials are ordered and delivered according to the supply plan.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best costs that align with the department’s TCP targets.
• Collaborate with Import/Export teams to guarantee the accuracy of raw material documentation.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of six years of prior experience in the development and deployment of new business applications related to sourcing, supplier management, contract management, and project management.
• Exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong communication experience with international teams, well-acquainted with remote working protocols, including virtual collaboration tools, cross-time-zone communication, and best practices.
• Capability to utilize a computer for 8.5 hours a day.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Skilled user of the MS Office suite, as well as Visio and Projects.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Well-organized and detail-oriented.
• Must Have Broadband Availability: Minimum 30 MBPS - Only connections from national service providers such as Jio, Tata, Airtel, or Hathway Fiber are acceptable.
• Home Office Setup (Mandatory): A working space that accommodates two monitors and one laptop (necessary equipment will be provided along with any additional tools needed for the role).
• The candidate must have access to a quiet and dedicated home office environment conducive to productive remote work.
• IT Asset Arrangement: All necessary equipment based on the role, including one or two monitors, one laptop, and supporting accessories, will be supplied by the company.
