Pulmonologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient pulmonary and primary care services to adult patients experiencing conditions such as COPD, asthma, chronic cough, and other respiratory issues.

• Perform patient assessments, follow-up appointments, and care coordination in partnership with other healthcare providers.

• Analyze pulmonary diagnostics, including spirometry, pulmonary function tests (PFTs), imaging like chest X-rays, and other pertinent clinical information.

• Oversee treatment strategies, modify medications, and educate patients regarding the management of pulmonary diseases.

• Work collaboratively with respiratory therapists, nurses, care coordinators, and clinical support personnel.

• Accurately and efficiently document care within the electronic health record system.

• Comply with all clinical protocols, quality benchmarks, and regulatory guidelines.

• Licensed to practice in New York.

• Excellent communication abilities, with a focus on being personable and supportive towards patients and a multidisciplinary team.

• Proven experience in delivering telemedicine services to patients.

• Background in providing culturally sensitive, patient-centered care.

• Capability to offer engaging and effective clinical training and mentorship for both clinical and non-clinical staff.

• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with telemedicine tools and electronic medical records documentation.

• Willingness to adapt to change and manage the uncertainties inherent in a startup environment.
