Pulmonologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient pulmonary and primary care to adult patients facing conditions such as COPD, asthma, chronic cough, and various other respiratory disorders.

• Perform patient assessments, follow-up appointments, and coordinate care in partnership with other healthcare providers.

• Analyze pulmonary diagnostics, including spirometry, PFTs, imaging like chest X-rays, and other pertinent clinical information.

• Oversee treatment plans, adjust medications, and educate patients regarding pulmonary disease management.

• Work collaboratively with respiratory therapists, nurses, care coordinators, and clinical support personnel.

• Accurately and efficiently document care within the electronic health record system.

• Comply with all clinical protocols, quality benchmarks, and regulatory standards.

• Must be licensed to practice in New York.

• Exceptional communication abilities, with a focus on being personable and supportive towards patients and a multidisciplinary team.

• Proven experience in delivering telemedicine services to patients.

• Background in providing culturally competent, patient-centered care.

• Capability to offer engaging and effective clinical training and mentorship for both clinical and non-clinical teams.

• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with telemedicine tools and EMR documentation.

• Adaptability and willingness to embrace change and the uncertainty that may arise in a startup setting.
