This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Serve as a customer-oriented Licensing Solutions Consultant
• Assess and analyze intricate Microsoft proposals and amendments
• Implement and promote new Microsoft agreements to customers
• Facilitate enrollment activities to ensure timely renewals and true-ups for current SHI clients
• Clarify Microsoft volume license contracts for customers and prospects
• Support Microsoft Account Executives and Customer Success Specialists with SHI’s Agreement Optimization Plan (T-36) utilizing various tools, portals, and applications
• Train sales teams on Microsoft programs and effective strategies for driving Enterprise Agreements and Microsoft revenue
• Plan deliverables for cost analysis and proposal development
• Create and deliver company-wide and client-focused training webinars on updates in Microsoft licensing, products, and programs
• Keep abreast of relevant Microsoft certifications and technologies
• Collaborate with Microsoft teams and stakeholders
• A completed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is required
• 2–4 years of experience in providing support for Microsoft Volume Licensing sales
• Capability to travel to SHI, partner, and customer events
• Commitment to obtaining MCP or a similar certification within the first year of employment at SHI
• Commitment to achieving AZ900 certification within the first 6 months of employment at SHI
• Commitment to acquiring MS900 certification within the first 6 months of employment at SHI
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, including formulas, functions, pivot tables, and data visualization tools (Intermediate)
• Experienced in creating Microsoft PowerPoint presentations, including custom layouts, multimedia, and transition effects (Intermediate)
• Skilled in managing and optimizing Microsoft volume licensing agreements and operations (Intermediate)
• Proficient in delivering expert product or service knowledge and guidance (Intermediate)
• Comprehensive understanding of the needs, regulations, and operational dynamics of State and Local Government and/or Education customers (Intermediate)
• Excellent communication, presentation, analytical thinking, data analysis, critical thinking, adaptability, conceptual thinking, initiative, follow-through, and relationship-building abilities
