Public Safety Software Application Specialist – Flex, CommandCentral, PremierOne

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the deployment processes of Motorola’s public safety and command center software suite within intricate software ecosystems for public safety agencies.

• Drive initiatives to perform operational assessments, business process evaluations, and other discovery activities to thoroughly understand the current business practices of Public Safety agencies.

• Assess existing business processes to pinpoint areas for enhancement.

• Promote business process reengineering projects by examining workflows and suggesting innovative modifications.

• Create, develop, and present training programs, learning materials, and other instructional resources to ensure user engagement and support for new software rollouts.

• Define, manage, and lead User Acceptance Testing procedures, ensuring that customer requirements are satisfied and documenting outcomes in accordance with the project's Functional Requirements Matrix.

• Serve as a bridge between technical teams, engineers, and project managers to effectively communicate customer needs.

• Collaborate with Project Managers and Program Directors throughout the project lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in one of the following areas: Public Safety, Business Analysis, Field Service, CAD- Computer Aided Dispatch, Record Management Systems, or Jail Applications.

• Must possess a self-motivated, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work competently with general guidance toward objectives.

• High School diploma, Associate's, or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Project Management, or 3 years of experience in a Public Safety Information Technology environment.

• Capability to obtain a background clearance as mandated by our government clients.

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is a prerequisite.
