This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong.
• Design and implement comprehensive public relations strategies specifically crafted for e-commerce and digital-first brands.
• Ensure PR initiatives are in alignment with growth marketing efforts, product launches, and online sales tactics.
• Establish brand credibility in the e-commerce, retail tech, and digital consumer sectors through media visibility and thought leadership.
• Oversee the creation of annual PR roadmaps, campaign strategies, and budgets.
• Foster and sustain robust relationships with journalists, editors, bloggers, and relevant industry publications.
• Actively pitch media outlets to obtain press coverage, founder profiles, product highlights, and industry insights.
• Create engaging press materials such as press releases, media kits, thought leadership pieces, and brand narratives.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with pertinent influencers, creators, and key opinion leaders (KOLs) that resonate with the brand.
• Monitor media coverage, digital discussions, and online sentiment to safeguard and enhance brand reputation.
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams to design PR-driven digital storytelling initiatives.
• Analyze PR performance through media analytics, sentiment evaluation, reach, and engagement metrics.
• Identify and oversee strategic partnerships, media collaborations, and industry sponsorship opportunities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related discipline (Master’s degree is advantageous).
• 2 to 5 years of established experience in Public Relations, ideally within e-commerce, digital retail, DTC brands, or consumer startups.
• Strong grasp of the e-commerce landscape, online consumer patterns, and digital brand storytelling techniques.
• Proven track record in acquiring media placements, brand features, and industry coverage.
• Experience in managing influencer marketing initiatives and KOL collaborations.
• Demonstrated expertise in reputation management and crisis communication.
• Proficiency in PR analytics, media monitoring tools, and digital performance assessment.
• Solid understanding of social media, digital marketing, and online brand development.
• Exceptional communication, storytelling, and public speaking abilities.
