Public Finance Banker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Generate new public finance business primarily within the designated geographical and line of business market.

• Create written proposals and pitch materials.

• Deliver presentations to both prospective and current clients.

• Oversee public finance negotiated underwritings and private placements.

• Conduct credit and bond sizing analyses for potential transactions.

• Manage rating presentations and coordinate workflow through negotiation and transaction settlement.

• Collaborate with key personnel in UMB Public Finance and Municipal Bond departments to uncover marketing opportunities.

• Meet performance metrics, customer retention objectives, and new business revenue goals.

• Actively contribute to future successes by ensuring existing products remain strong and working collaboratively to selectively introduce new product or solution offerings.

• Balance customer needs with UMB's profitability and risk guidelines while guiding the team in these areas.

• Execute supervisory duties in alignment with the organization's policies and relevant laws.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

• Required Licenses: Series 7 and 63, or MSRB 52.
