This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Deliver administrative, technical, and technological services to manage a portfolio of regulatory development and revision projects that require public feedback and/or data analysis and synthesis from interviews.
• Oversee personnel and processes to ensure successful project delivery that meets client expectations.
• Assist in the design and execution of programs and initiatives, which includes setting objectives, drafting strategic and implementation plans, and creating new workflows.
• Create and implement processes and procedures aimed at improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the team’s operations.
• Coordinate internal resources along with external consultants and vendors to carry out programs and projects.
• Lead a small team by providing mentoring, oversight, and performance management.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within scope, and budget, while maintaining technical accuracy and soundness.
• Supervise the development of deliverables to guarantee timely delivery and high quality.
• Formulate a comprehensive project plan to monitor progress and manage alterations in project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Cultivate relationships with clients and all stakeholders.
• Offer guidance on technical strategies to meet project objectives, including meeting schedules, research methodologies, resource requirements, communication plans, and data management.
• Establish and sustain relationships with external consultants, vendors, and partners.
• Participate in proposal writing and technical solutions for relevant projects, and may lead technical or management segments.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in science, health, healthcare, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10 years of relevant experience.
• 2 years of project management experience.
• Familiarity with relevant research or programmatic software packages to meet project goals.
• Advanced proficiency in navigating web-based systems such as SharePoint, Teams, and other electronic business platforms, including training others in their use.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Skills in project and people management concerning budgeting, resource allocation, planning, task assignment, and risk management.
• Capability to communicate results clearly and effectively.
• Ability to forge strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and external vendors.
• May possess advanced knowledge in a specific area of technical expertise.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience as a consultant for federal agencies.
• Experience in analyzing public comments or other qualitative data for HHS agencies.
