Psychotherapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver proficient and informed psychotherapy services to adolescents, adults, couples, and families.

• Conduct telephone consultations.

• Offer psychotherapy to individuals, couples, multiple-partner relationships, and family clients.

• Keep accurate case notes, logs, and necessary documentation.

• Provide group therapy sessions as required.

• Engage in weekly or biweekly individual supervision and participate in available weekly group clinical supervision.

• Optionally write a blog four times a year.

• Assist in the development and execution of G&STC workshops, training sessions, and seminars as opportunities arise.

• Undertake marketing activities for oneself and G&STC as deemed necessary or of interest.

• Develop and oversee a caseload, with full-time positions typically requiring 25 completed sessions per week and part-time roles approximately 18 sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hold an LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-R, MHC, or LMHC and be licensed in New York.

• Reside in New York or New Jersey.

• Commit to a minimum of three years with G&STC.

• Possess education, training, and proven success in implementing modalities such as CBT, IFS, mindfulness treatments, trauma-informed practices, somatic treatments, and psychodynamic psychotherapy.

• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Have at least one year of experience in assessment, treatment planning, and delivering psychotherapy.

• Have at least one year of experience providing therapy for individuals, couples, multiple-partner relationships, and/or families.

• Have at least one year of experience working with LGBTQ+, kinky, and non-monogamous clients.

• Have at least one year of experience addressing sexual-related issues, including sexual anxiety, sexual functioning, sexual pain, and compulsive sexual behaviors.

• Demonstrate a high level of competence in gender, sex, and sexuality, with expertise regarding LGBTQ+ individuals, alternative sexualities, and sexual-related issues.

• Be organized and capable of submitting progress notes and responding to emails promptly in compliance with G&STC policies.
