Psychometric Data Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Extract data from SQL and NoSQL databases (such as Snowflake and MongoDB) to facilitate psychometric analyses and operational reporting.

• Maintain data integrity through thorough validation, transformation, and documentation processes.

• Analyze data pertaining to item and test content, quality, and performance using statistical and psychometric techniques.

• Assist psychometricians with advanced analyses, including Item Response Theory (IRT) modeling, reliability studies, norming, and other specialized methodologies.

• Validate assessment logic to ensure that scoring rules, branching, and performance assumptions function as intended.

• Define, calculate, and monitor assessment quality and performance metrics to guarantee consistency and accuracy across programs.

• Design and execute research studies, simulations, and data mining projects to explore assessment behavior and promote continuous improvement.

• Present analytical findings through well-crafted written reports, data visualizations, dashboards, and presentations tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Stay current with statistical analysis techniques, psychometric best practices, and contemporary data engineering workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, data science, or a related field from an accredited four-year college or university.

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in executing analysis and testing plans, along with defining and tracking metrics, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Extensive experience in database management with both structured (SQL) and unstructured (NoSQL) databases, particularly MongoDB.

• Proficient in manipulating and analyzing data using SAS, R, and Python.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team and across different functions.
