Psychologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct telehealth assessments to evaluate mental health conditions, their symptoms, and the effects on daily life as well as social and occupational functioning.

• Thoroughly complete detailed DBQ forms based on the findings from evaluations.

• Review Electronic Medical Records (EMR) to establish service connections.

• Provide diagnostic clarification for mental health disorders to assess severity.

• Concentrate exclusively on evaluations, without engaging in ongoing therapy or prescribing medications.

• Collaborate with VA personnel or contractors to ensure accurate and prompt reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctoral-level psychologist (PhD or PsyD) with a current, unrestricted license.

• Proven experience in conducting diagnostic interviews and behavioral health assessments, with a strong preference for working with Veterans.

• Proficient in DSM-5 criteria and capable of assessing functional impairments.

• Excellent analytical and report-writing skills to effectively convey clinical findings in the VA's mandated format.
