Psychiatrist, Prescribing Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Dakota.

📋 Description

• Provide thorough mental health medication management through a 60-minute intake session and subsequent follow-up meetings.

• Perform mental health risk evaluations, psychiatric medication assessments, and ongoing medication management.

• Develop patient-focused treatment plans, record treatment suggestions, communicate with patients, and prescribe and oversee psychiatric medications.

• Have experience and a dedication to delivering safe, evidence-based medication treatment that adheres to clinical best practice guidelines (e.g., measurement-based care, patient-centered care, careful attention, medication risk reduction, and benefit maximization).

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a board-certified MD or DO in psychiatry, or a graduate from an accredited (CCNE) Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program; OR a graduate from an accredited PA program (ARC-PA) with certification through PANCE, preferably with a Certificate of Added Qualifications in psychiatry, a post-graduate fellowship in psychiatry, or completion of another academic psychiatry certificate program, including a Doctor of Medical Science with a Psychiatry concentration.

• Must possess an unrestricted state license.

• At least 2 years of practical experience required.

• Strong preference for NPs and PA-Cs who hold an active DEA license.

• Preference for NPs and PA-Cs with additional certification or clinical experience working with minors.

• Must have office space available for seeing clients in Conway, AR.

• Ability to provide care to patients with a wide range of diagnoses, clinical complexities, and severity levels, with a preference for providers who can offer in-person services.

• Must be a full-time resident of the United States.
