This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

• Conduct virtual consultations and engage with patients via telemedicine.

• Evaluate, screen, diagnose, and prescribe medications when clinically appropriate.

• Create personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's requirements.

• Collaborate on treatment planning and care delivery with BetterHelp’s network of licensed therapists.

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care while maintaining clinical and service standards.

• Offer insights to product, engineering, and operations teams to enhance the experience for providers and patients.

• Make independent clinical decisions in compliance with applicable state telehealth laws, regulations, and professional standards.

• A minimum of one year of experience as a licensed Psychiatrist.

• Possession of an active medical license (MD/DO) in good standing.

• Experience in prescribing medications when clinically appropriate and allowed by relevant state law.

• Proficiency in utilizing technology and online tools to provide virtual care.

• Excellent communication skills with a patient-focused approach.

• Must reside in the United States.

• Previous experience in telemedicine is preferred.

• Active medical licenses in several states are preferred.

• Fluency in additional languages is preferred.

• Estimated effective hourly earnings ranging from $119–$242 per hour (illustrative and not guaranteed).
