This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Conduct virtual consultations and engage with patients through telemedicine platforms.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients, including the ability to prescribe medication when clinically appropriate.
• Provide supervision and oversight to Nurse Practitioners (NPs) in states that require collaborative agreements.
• Complete necessary chart reviews and offer timely consultation support to NPs.
• Maintain a responsive approach for collaboration duties in line with state regulations and UpLift standards.
• Coordinate care with UpLift’s network of therapists and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care while adhering to UpLift’s clinical and service standards.
• Contribute product and workflow insights to UpLift’s engineering and operations teams to enhance care delivery.
• Board-certified Psychiatrist with relevant clinical experience.
• Current and unrestricted medical license(s) in one or more of the following priority states: Virginia, Texas, Florida, Georgia, or North Carolina.
• Multi-state licensure is highly desirable.
• Experience in supervising or collaborating with Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (e.g., NPs) is preferred.
• Proficient in prescribing medication when clinically appropriate and allowed by state law.
• Competent in utilizing online tools and technology to provide virtual care.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver timely consultation support.
• Prior experience in telemedicine is advantageous.
• Flexible earnings model*: Compensation encompasses both patient care and collaboration activities. Physicians can earn $25 per assigned supervision slot (in capped states) and $30 per completed chart review. Total monthly earnings may vary based on state coverage and activity.
