Psychiatrist – Child & Adolescent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough psychiatric evaluations, develop precise diagnoses, and design customized treatment plans that cater to each developmental stage.

• Apply effective therapeutic methods and medication management approaches to treat conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders, ensuring interventions are safe and appropriate.

• Create a collaborative treatment atmosphere by educating families on mental health topics, involving them in care planning, and offering guidance on supportive actions at home.

• Conduct virtual psychiatric sessions, ensuring a high-quality and supportive experience, and use technology to maintain consistent communication with members and their families.

• Actively engage in team meetings, contribute to collaborative care strategies, and provide consultative assistance to other team members for comprehensive member support.

• Keep accurate and timely records of assessments, care plans, and progress notes. Utilize data analytics to evaluate outcomes and enhance care quality continuously.

• Ensure adherence to all regulatory and quality standards, participate in ongoing professional development, and dedicate yourself to ethical, patient-centered care practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-certified or -eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with an active license in at least one state.

• Preferred but not mandatory experience in providing telehealth therapy services in a virtual setting (video and teletherapy).

• Proficiency in computer and live video tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meets, DoxyMe, Skype, etc.).

• Proven skills in family engagement and experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults.

• Commitment to and familiarity with JCAHO guidelines, with competency in practicing within an accredited framework to ensure safety, quality, and compliance.
