Psychiatrist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough psychiatric evaluations and manage medication sessions.

• Create, execute, and assess personalized treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based psychiatric care for mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, ADHD, and various other mental health issues.

• Collaborate with therapists, case managers, social workers, and other members of a multidisciplinary team.

• Keep clinical documentation current within the EMR system.

• Provide direct psychiatric care while having the option to assume leadership and clinical oversight roles.

• Offer clinical guidance and work together to ensure high-quality patient care.

• Foster the professional growth of psychiatric nurse practitioners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) with completed residency training in Psychiatry.

• Board Certification in Psychiatry (ABPN).

• Active and unrestricted medical license in multiple states, or willingness to obtain licensure in multiple states.

• In-depth understanding of the NP scope of practice in psychiatry and relevant state regulations.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and mentorship abilities.

• Must be licensed and residing in the state of Michigan.

• Preferred experience in outpatient psychiatry and/or telepsychiatry settings.

• Familiarity with trauma-informed care, integrated care, and/or addiction psychiatry is advantageous.

• Preference for multistate licensure or willingness to obtain additional licenses if telehealth is part of the model.

• Previous experience with EMR systems and virtual collaboration tools is preferred.

• Clinical availability of 35 hours per week (60–70 sessions) depending on caseload and availability.

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire.

• This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
