Psychiatrist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Georgia.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and manage medication sessions.

• Create, execute, and oversee personalized treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based psychiatric care addressing various mental health issues, such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and ADHD.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, case managers, and social workers.

• Keep clinical documentation current within the EMR system.

• Provide direct psychiatric care to patients.

• Opportunity to assume leadership and clinical oversight roles.

• Offer clinical direction and work alongside a multidisciplinary team.

• Contribute to the provision of high-quality patient care.

• Engage in case consultation groups and assist in the professional growth of psychiatric nurse practitioners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) with residency training in Psychiatry.

• Board Certification in Psychiatry (ABPN).

• Possess an active and unrestricted medical license in multiple states or be willing to obtain licenses in multiple states.

• In-depth knowledge of the NP scope of practice in psychiatry and pertinent state regulations.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and mentorship abilities.

• Must be licensed and reside in the state of Georgia.

• Experience in outpatient psychiatry and/or telepsychiatry settings.

• Familiarity with trauma-informed care, integrated care, and/or addiction psychiatry is a plus.

• Multistate licensure or willingness to secure additional licenses (if telehealth is part of the model).

• Proficient in using EMR systems and virtual collaboration tools.

• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire.

• This position does not qualify for employment visa sponsorship, either presently or in the future.
