Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and collaboratively establish treatment plans with clients, incorporating medication, therapy, or both.

• Regularly follow up with clients at least once a month to evaluate the effectiveness of suggested interventions and ensure continuous care until treatment objectives are met.

• Offer a variety of talk therapy modalities in conjunction with medication management as required.

• Conduct tele-psychiatric appointments for clients located in New Jersey.

• Create a self-managed schedule within the operational hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).

• Valid New Jersey Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License.

• ANCC Board Certification.

• DEA Certification.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in adult mental health.

• Strong assessment capabilities.

• Exceptional communication and documentation skills.

• Driven, client-focused work ethic.

• Must possess a personal computer and a quiet, professional environment for conducting tele-psychiatry sessions.

• Minimum commitment of 16 hours per week.

• Must be adept at providing various forms of talk therapy.

• Availability for scheduling from Monday to Friday, with weekend options.
