Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Remote

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Perform psychiatric assessments and ongoing medication management for individuals in:

• Detoxification

• Inpatient rehabilitation

• Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)

• Create, execute, and modify personalized treatment plans

• Work closely with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, and case management teams

• Provide clinical supervision and support for detoxification protocols and stabilization

• Ensure clinical documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant

• Engage in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings

• Facilitate continuity of care and discharge planning

• Address on-call clinical requirements during designated coverage hours

• Adhere to state, federal, and organizational regulations

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid PMHNP certification

• Current APRN license in New Mexico and Nevada (mandatory)

• Active DEA license (mandatory)

• Capability to practice autonomously within the New Mexico scope of practice

• Preferred experience in substance use treatment, detoxification, inpatient, or IOP environments

• Strong clinical judgment with the ability to handle complex psychiatric cases

• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills

• Comfort with remote work and managing time across various programs
