Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP – Telehealth Addiction & Mental Health Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Oversee member care in collaboration with a team that includes counselors, therapists, peer support specialists, and case managers.

• Offer evidence-based treatments for individuals experiencing substance use and mental health disorders.

• Perform initial assessments and follow-up telehealth evaluations.

• Provide care for both substance use issues and mental health conditions.

• Prescribe medications when necessary and address member inquiries.

• Maintain accurate documentation in our electronic health record (EHR) system (Healthie).

• Work in partnership with your care team and attend occasional scheduled team meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid and verifiable PMHNP license (Medicaid enrollment is advantageous) in the states where you practice, as well as in your state of residence if it is not Oregon.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in addiction or mental health treatment. Relevant previous experience will be considered for candidates with less than 2 years as a PMHNP.

• Experience with prescribing Suboxone and an active DEA registration.

• Willingness to secure multi-state licensure (expenses covered by Affect).

• A compassionate approach towards members confronting behavioral health challenges.

• Proficiency in using technology, including EHRs and mobile applications.
