Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses for children, adolescents, and young adults.

• Create individualized treatment plans and manage medications tailored to meet the specific needs of each patient.

• Dedicate the necessary time to engage with patients and their families, gaining insight into their experiences, educating them about treatment options, and offering continuous support.

• Track patient progress towards care objectives, modifying treatment plans as required to ensure favorable outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with therapists and other healthcare professionals to develop holistic treatment plans that consider the entire child's well-being.

• Provide consultation and educational resources to patients and their families, aiding them in understanding diagnoses, treatment alternatives, and how to support their child's mental health journey.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ability to commit to a minimum of 12 hours per week during peak "after school hours," which are defined as after 4 pm ET on weekdays or anytime during weekends.

• A Master's Degree from an accredited nursing program, PMHNP-BC certification, and at least one year of independent psychiatric experience under licensure.

• Current Pennsylvania PMHNP/CRNP/APN license, DEA license, and State Prescriptive Authority.
