Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PA Licensed

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough, culturally sensitive virtual psychiatric evaluations and manage medication appointments.

• Carry out biopsychosocial assessments aimed at holistic care, providing clear diagnostic evaluations.

• Interact with patients via our collaboration portal.

• Work alongside supervisors, colleagues, and on-campus treatment providers.

• Document clinical interactions to ensure effective care coordination.

• Collaborate with our care navigation team to assist students.

• Partner with campus care teams to develop long-term treatment plans when required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a valid Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in PA. Multi-state licensure is a plus as we operate across all 50 states.

• Have a minimum of 1 year of experience in an outpatient community mental health environment.

• Proficient in treating prevalent mental health issues among college-aged individuals, such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and substance use disorders.

• Knowledgeable in culturally responsive treatment and experienced with diverse patient populations.

• Comfortable evaluating the urgency of escalating risk situations.

• Must have a quality video camera and reliable internet connection for virtual care delivery.
