Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, New Jersey

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Delivers direct patient care focusing on medication management, diagnostic assessments, and medical evaluations.

• Educates patients on medications, including their risks, benefits, and realistic outcome expectations.

• Collaborates effectively with support staff to facilitate clear patient communication and follow-up.

• Engages in treatment team meetings actively.

• Provides assistance to Medical Directors with patient-related tasks as required.

• Undertakes additional responsibilities as assigned by the Medical Director.

• This role is structured for 40 hours each week, with an expectation of 32 hours dedicated to clinical duties and 8 hours to administrative tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Capacity to support the Charlie Health team either on a contract, part-time, or full-time basis; remote work is encouraged.

• Master of Science in Nursing with a Psychiatric/Mental Health focus from an accredited institution.

• Must hold a valid license as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a PMHNP; experience in IOP, PHP, and/or IP settings is preferred.

• Experience working with a diverse age range, including children, teenagers, young adults, and adult clients.

• Dedication to providing high-quality, cost-effective healthcare services.

• Proficient communication skills and ability to work effectively with medical personnel, patients, clinical support, and administrative staff.

• Competence in using electronic health records.

• Required skills in computer usage and internet navigation, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
