This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Assess and treat mental health and emotional disorders.
• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions for patients.
• Prescribe and oversee medications as needed.
• Keep comprehensive records of patient appointments and progress.
• Aid in creating tailored treatment plans for individuals.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health and emotional disorders.
• Engage in community outreach and educational initiatives.
• At least 12 months of experience in a psychiatric clinical setting following licensure.
• Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric Nursing.
• Board Certification through ANCC or AANP.
• Valid state licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, depending on clinic location.
• Active DEA registration in the state where prescribing, according to clinic location.
• Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Understanding of mental health and emotional disorders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to function effectively within a team environment.
• Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR): Must have proven experience in using electronic health record systems to manage patient information, document clinical data, and review patient histories. Familiarity with NextGen is highly preferred.
• Computer Skills: Strong proficiency in various software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations. Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and resolve common issues.
• W-2 position with medical, dental, and vision coverage starting on the first of the month following employment.
• Base salary plus monthly bonus based on billable hours.
