Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication management for patients of all ages (5+).

• Create and execute evidence-based treatment plans that are in line with patient objectives.

• Prescribe and oversee psychotropic medications while monitoring their effectiveness and potential side effects.

• Collaborate with primary care professionals and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

• Tackle co-occurring disorders, such as substance use, using a thorough, evidence-based strategy.

• Maintain timely and precise documentation in partner-site EHR systems to facilitate care continuity.

• Utilize telehealth platforms to engage patients, ensuring accessibility and equity in care delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a valid license.

• Preference will be given to candidates with licenses in Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Texas, and Mississippi.

• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in community-based mental health environments is required.

• Must be committed to full-time engagement.

• Ability to independently manage complex cases while demonstrating strong clinical judgment.

• A strong enthusiasm for developing and evolving behavioral health programs to meet patient needs.

• Proficient in telehealth platforms and digital tools to ensure effective remote engagement with patients.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and diverse patient populations.
