Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough online psychiatric evaluations for children and adolescents (ages 5 – 18+)

• Create and oversee tailored treatment plans, including medication management

• Deliver continuous psychiatric care through a secure telehealth platform

• Collaborate with supervising psychiatrists on complex cases and escalations in care

• Work alongside therapists and care coordinators to provide integrated support

• Involve and inform parents/caregivers throughout the treatment journey

• Ensure timely and compliant clinical documentation

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid PMHNP certification and licensure in Texas (additional states are advantageous)

• Must have a current collaborating physician to practice or full authority to practice within the state

• At least 2 years of experience in child & adolescent psychiatry

• Strong clinical judgment combined with a warm, collaborative communication approach

• Proficient and comfortable with virtual care delivery

• Commitment to working with families and utilizing a systems-informed approach

• Availability for a minimum of 10 hours per week
