Psychiatric Advanced Practice Provider

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Conduct psychiatric diagnostic evaluations for general mental health and substance use disorders across all age groups.

• Manage psychopharmacological treatment for all diagnosed psychiatric conditions.

• Possess a Data Waiver (or willingness to obtain) to administer medication-assisted treatment for individuals with opioid use disorder in active withdrawal or recovery.

• Provide supportive psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, and demonstrate proficiency in trauma-informed care, harm reduction strategies, and patient-centered approaches.

• Exhibit expertise in care coordination among psychiatric, substance use treatment, and medical integration.

• Offer direct support for both scheduled and walk-in patients.

• Complete validated rating scales documentation and treatment plans to aid in assessing the level of care needed.

• Coordinate care for patients, which includes psychological testing, medical referrals, resources, peer support, housing, and other identified social determinants.

• Actively engage with a multidisciplinary team that includes primary care providers, pediatricians, obstetricians/gynecologists, counseling staff, peer support personnel, and care coordinators.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hold an active and unrestricted medical license in both the state of primary residence and the state where medical services are provided.

• Have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Provider (Required).

• Possess a valid DEA License.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).

• Maintain a patient-first mindset.

• Be comfortable working in a fully remote environment.
