PR/Social Media Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Conduct research and create targeted media lists within the AI, manufacturing, investment, and real estate sectors.

• Compose press releases, pitch emails, and media briefs.

• Monitor media coverage, coordinate interviews, and keep press contact databases up to date.

• Identify pertinent trade publications and their editorial calendars.

• Assist in drafting and placing contributed articles and expert commentary.

• Help establish Vulcury's portfolio founders as authoritative voices within their industries.

• Keep track of industry awards, innovation lists, and rankings.

• Create compelling submissions that distill company achievements into persuasive narratives.

• Manage a live awards pipeline including deadlines and submission status.

• Oversee content creation for LinkedIn and X/Twitter for Vulcury and its portfolio companies.

• Transform white papers, insights, and long-form content into engaging, platform-specific posts.

• Ensure consistent narrative flow across various brands.

• Monitor performance metrics and suggest enhancements.

• Outstanding writing skills — clear, concise, persuasive, and well-structured.

• Interest in media strategy, venture building, AI, and capital markets.

• Capability to distill complex concepts into easily understandable narratives.

• Strong research capabilities and a curious intellect.

• Organized mindset for project management.

• Familiarity with LinkedIn, X/Twitter, and basic analytical tools.

• Ability to work effectively across multiple brands at once.

• Bonus: Experience with Substack, newsletter platforms, or media CRM tools.

• Previous experience in PR, journalism, debate, or editorial positions.
