Provider – Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver assessment and treatment for a continuous panel of up to 275 adults with Opioid Use Disorder from the initiation of treatment through their ongoing care.

• Diagnose Opioid Use Disorder and any co-occurring mental health conditions.

• Safely and effectively initiate treatment with buprenorphine-naloxone for OUD, managing the initial induction and stabilization phases of care with close follow-up.

• Employ motivational interviewing and other techniques for engagement and rapport-building to achieve the best patient outcomes.

• Collaborate with the care team to coordinate any additional services as necessary.

• Actively participate in clinical team meetings and practice improvement, engaging in case discussions with colleagues.

• Utilize our user-friendly web-based EMR platform to manage patient care.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid medical practice license & DEA license in your home state. Must be eligible and willing to obtain licenses in multiple states.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience prescribing Buprenorphine in a family medicine, internal medicine, addiction medicine, or psychiatric practice setting.

• Telehealth experience is a significant advantage!

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to develop effective provider-patient relationships that encourage engagement and adherence to a collaboratively created care plan.

• Comfort with risk/benefit analysis and a passion for problem-solving are essential qualities.

• Experience with Motivational Interviewing is preferred.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

• Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner certification is highly preferred.
