Provider Outreach Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Recruit, train, and cultivate ongoing relationships with healthcare providers to enhance patient enrollment in the SC Quitline.

• Provide presentations and training on tobacco intervention, Quitline services, and the Live Vape Free initiative to healthcare providers, community organizations, and the general public.

• Represent RVO Health/Quit for Life at community events, health fairs, and state conferences.

• Develop and customize your own training materials and presentations, utilizing existing program resources as a basis.

• Monitor outreach activities and provider engagement metrics.

• Obtain Tobacco Treatment Specialist certification.

• Work closely with fellow Outreach Specialists across South Carolina, engaging in cross-training and sharing best practices as part of a cohesive, supportive team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related discipline or equivalent professional experience.

• Strong presentation and public speaking abilities, with comfort addressing audiences ranging from one individual to over 300.

• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills; capable of self-managing a flexible schedule with integrity.

• Ability to adapt to and thrive within an unpredictable, field-based schedule.

• Cultural competency and sensitivity, employing a non-judgmental, respectful approach to delicate health topics.

• Willingness and capability to travel up to 75% of the time, including occasional overnight stays.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.

• Team-oriented attitude, open to giving and receiving constructive feedback.
