This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Ensuring that accurate provider information is obtained and consistently maintained in the Maryland Physicians Care (MPC) operational system and online provider directory.
• Providing administrative support which includes provider data entry, auditing, corrections, and submitting contracts.
• Assisting the manager with internal projects and the generation of reports.
• Offering back-up support to the Provider and Facility Services Coordinator.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Adobe applications.
• Strong capability to collect data and conduct a thorough review of information for accuracy and completeness.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively engage with all levels of staff, providers, and business-related associates.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient in presenting information effectively.
• Ability to assimilate information and learn quickly.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks and organize, coordinating priorities effectively.
• A positive team player with the ability to manage project time constraints.
• A minimum of 3 years of administrative experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience in credentialing or provider data maintenance is preferred.
