Provider Billing Support Specialist I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Address and resolve concerns brought up by clients and therapists through phone and live chat.

• Analyze issues to determine their root causes.

• Collaborate with Product teams to enhance the platform.

• Provide assistance and guidance to customers using the Grow Therapy platform.

• Deliver exceptional customer service to both clients and therapists.

• Act as the primary resource and advocate for clients and therapists.

• Support customers throughout their experience with Grow Therapy.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of one year of experience with insurance across various commercial and government payers.

• Strong understanding of medical terminology and ICD-10/CPT codes, ideally in the mental health field.

• Experience using Claim MD or Availity for verifying benefits and interpreting EOBs.

• Capability to clearly explain benefits to patients.

• Experience navigating different payer portals.

• Self-driven, enthusiastic about learning, and comfortable with ambiguity and asynchronous communication.

• Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity regarding health technology.

• Kindness and empathy, prioritizing customer experience.

• Ability to work independently and remotely while adapting to shifting priorities and customer needs.

• Comfortable achieving quantitative metrics, including daily conversation volume.

• Able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Bilingual skills are a plus, preferably in Spanish.
