Medical Billing Team Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Acquire knowledge of new client systems and effectively convey this information to team members.

• Manage the assigned team and guarantee the prompt and accurate delivery of outputs.

• Mentor team members and enhance their professional skills.

• Support the Supervisor, Assistant Manager, or Manager in guiding the team towards achieving company objectives.

• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

• Resolve conflicts that arise within the team.

• Generate precise medical insurance claims and ensure they are submitted on time.

• Address claim denials through either resubmission or appeals processes.

• Develop and implement strategies aimed at reducing claim denials.

• Understand and apply billing requirements specific to specialties, states, and carriers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A graduate of any allied medical course (such as Nursing, PT, MedTech, etc.) is preferred but not mandatory.

• A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in medical billing, ideally with US healthcare accounts.

• Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a medical billing team is preferred.

• Comprehensive knowledge of medical insurance claims processing, including claim submissions, denials, and appeals.

• Experience in analyzing and resolving claim denials, as well as implementing strategies to minimize them.

• Exceptional coaching, mentoring, and team management abilities.

• Capability to monitor team performance and ensure timely and accurate submission of outputs.

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.

• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

• Must be able to work from home with a dependable internet connection and a backup option.
