Provider Assignment Clerk

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversees the monthly closing schedule to guarantee that all provider assignment and sequencing reviews are finalized one day before the month-end deadline.

• Generates reports for the verification process for each dataset on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.

• Analyzes reports to ensure accuracy in provider assignment and sequencing according to client or payer guidelines.

• Examines reports to confirm the accuracy of location and POS for billed services related to provider assignments.

• Shares coder trends or quality findings with the relevant coding workflow team to educate coders and monitor accuracy.

• Executes provider assignment and/or sequencing adjustments in the billing platform or other systems.

• Engages in company meetings.

• Supplies status reports to the Operations Manager as needed.

• Adheres to all internal policies and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with coding principles and guidelines is preferred.

• Understanding of insurance payer guidelines is preferred.

• Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities.

• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

• Excellent analytical capabilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.

• Capability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines while maintaining high quality and accuracy.
