Proposals Manager – Pharmacovigilance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Provide strategic support and leadership in the creation of proposals, including the formulation of support strategies and leading team collaborations.

• Ensure that proposal contributions are gathered from a diverse range of stakeholders, typically involving input from sales, marketing, operational teams, finance, legal, and senior management.

• Conduct quality control and validation of stakeholder feedback.

• Deliver high-quality, client-focused proposals, budgets, and client grids for new business prospects.

• Participate in department meetings including global RFP Triage, P&C internal meetings, and other ad-hoc discussions.

• Assist in and engage with Proposals training, which encompasses onboarding new staff as well as ongoing training for existing team members and personnel outside the P&C team.

• Aid in the coordination, development, negotiation, and execution of client contracts and change orders for key accounts and significant opportunities.

• Contribute to the establishment of standardized procedures at the departmental level and assist in optimizing processes for proposal preparation and efficient turnaround times.

• Facilitate the growth of junior staff by organizing lessons learned and educational programs to enhance team performance and development.

• Promote process improvement initiatives that lead to the creation of highly accurate and effective costs and proposals.

• Ensure that Senior Management is adequately engaged in quality control and contributes to Key Opportunities, with strategies effectively communicated to clients.

• Drive continuous departmental process enhancements and engage in special projects as assigned, in addition to daily responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in developing proposals and managing budgets within the Clinical Research Organization (CRO) sector.

• A background in Pharmacovigilance (Safety Services) or experience with PV providers is advantageous.
