Proposal/RFP Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Work closely with the Senior Manager, Proposals throughout the complete RFP process, ensuring proposals are submitted on time and meet high standards that align with company goals and client expectations.

• Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Proposals to collect necessary information and craft customized, compelling proposals in conjunction with our cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product, and technical specialists.

• Set up proposal templates and incorporate boilerplate content to facilitate the proposal process, thereby minimizing the time and effort needed for proposal development.

• Manage and enhance the RFP response database, ensuring all content is current, precise, and engaging.

• Assist with special projects as required, including but not limited to marketing materials and white papers that support the proposal and sales efforts.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is required, or equivalent work experience.

• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Business or Marketing is required.

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is essential.

• Experience with RFP management software is a plus but not mandatory (e.g., RFPIO, InHub, Qvidian, Loopio, or similar).

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to present complex information in a clear and persuasive manner.

• Strong organizational skills, self-motivation to complete tasks, excellent writing capabilities, and a meticulous attention to detail are essential for delivering impactful proposals that foster business growth.

• Proven interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal partners at all levels of the organization.

• Highly organized and detail-focused, with the capacity to manage several projects at once and meet tight deadlines.

• A self-starter with a strong motivation to succeed is essential.
