Proposal Writer – Public Sector RFPs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Develop compliance matrices prior to the commencement of proposal writing

• Craft RFP, RFQ, and proactive strategic proposals

• Convert GIS concepts into accessible language for clients

• Enhance proposal scoring by implementing more effective response strategies

• Manage deadlines, contributors, formatting, and submissions

• Submit proposals via procurement portals and confirm receipt

• Assist with 3–5 simultaneous pursuits under stringent deadlines

• Maintain libraries of proposal content, resumes, and project profiles

• Aid in the creation of presentations, case studies, and pursuit collateral

• Refine proposal processes as the organization grows

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in writing proposals for the public sector

• Familiarity with government RFP compliance standards

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat

• Capability to write in alignment with evaluation criteria and scoring

• Proven experience in managing multiple proposal deadlines concurrently

• Strong skills in writing, editing, and proofreading
