This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate requests for proposals (RFPs) from the Sales and Business Development teams or clients.
• Conduct technical assessments of incoming RFPs and extensions of existing programs related to Sterile Drug Product capabilities.
• Formulate proposed scopes of work, pricing, and budgets with minimal management oversight.
• Organize technical evaluations into suitable templates and produce proposals.
• Analyze customer requirements alongside Operations and suggest Alcami capabilities.
• Represent technical operations to clients in support of project acquisition.
• Collaborate with Sales & Business Development, Project Management, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams.
• Participate in customer site visits and presentations for new business opportunities.
• Input data into the relevant CRM system.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Complete tasks on time and adhere to SOPs, policies, cGMP, and training requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering discipline with over 4 years of industry experience.
• Master's or doctorate degree in a scientific or engineering field with more than 2 years of industry experience.
• Experience in CDMO and sterile drug product is mandatory.
• Familiarity with FDA regulations and ICH guidelines.
• Understanding of U.S. regulatory requirements in the drug development process for the pharmaceutical industry.
• Knowledge of activity costing, profit margins, and budgeting.
• Comprehension of scientific terminology and testing procedure requirements.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Capability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
• Ability to quickly learn to work with a CRM system.
• Understanding of the interdependencies between process chemistry, analytical development, and manufacturing.
• Willingness to travel up to 5% as required.
